Julie King has over 30 years of experience in the holistic and self-development field including her position as CEO and co-founder of Merrill West Publishing, a leading edge multi-media publisher of symbolic arts. During the initial start-up phase Julie was instrumental in raising capital and developing distribution channels. For 18 years she was actively involved in product development, design and production, publicity, advertising, distribution, and author/artist development. She also negotiated numerous licenses and intellectual property rights, both foreign and domestic. One of the best sellers, The Voyager Tarot deck sold over 250,000 copies in North America and Angel Blessings Cards (another best seller) sold 10,000 copies the first month of publication. Julie King and her partner sold Merrill-West to another publisher in 2001.  

Under the umbrella of her own company Rota Productions, Julie was in charge of the North American sales for Oreade Music, a New Age music label headquartered in The Netherlands. Julie initiated national promotion campaigns through various media outlets, trade show representation, and maintained relationships with distributors, wholesale accounts and consumers. She was instrumental in the development of digital distribution for Oreade’s catalog of 350 music titles.

Rota Productions also produces Body, Mind, and Spirit events and provides business/intuitive consulting for individuals and businesses. Julie has been an entrepreneur and adventurer most of her life with a personal interest in wellness and spirituality.  

Julie King was a weekly morning host for In the Company of Angels, a spiritual talk show featuring interviews, and uplifting stories with authors for around the world. The show was Monday- Friday 7-9am. She also founded and was the host for weekly women’s radio talk show sponsored by the Monterey YWCA called The YW Woman’s Hour, which featured news and guests, related to women and women’s issues. Julie has been a guest on numerous radio and television shows and is a published author, lecturer and teacher.
